christmas dilemma

It has been so long i was able to make post to my blog because obviously, i have been so busy with my new job and so on. Today its just so happen that i thought about posting something to vent my frustrations about so many stuff.

First and foremost, christmas is coming and yet, i still did not get a chance to get some presents for everybody because the money is running a little low.

Having a job is bittersweet. You have the money to wait at the end of the 2 weeks but you also have the set of priorities. Hayz, i am immensely wanting a stuff for christmas which the way it looked i won't be able to get it (again). I guess i have to wait a little longer. My sister also want a watch for christmas. The michael kors watch is what i'm thinking to buy since i love the brand from shoes, handbags and accesories. Oh well, my sister can probably wait and so do I.

2 cars broke

This week has been so unluckiest week so far. Two of our vehicle broke down which one of them still at our friend's house waiting for the repair. I don't know when are we going to be able to fix it because as far as i know we cannot find the parts we need in our local auto store. Husband is still hunting for the cheaper deals online and hopefully, we find something that fits in our budget.
I hate a situation like this but we are trying to be positive about everything. The other vehicle is running fine for now however, it does need a little work before we completely depend on it. I hate breakdown. I just wish this would be over and so, we can have a peace of mind. Oh my God! This is so unbelievable that i finally get to talk about my hubby's crazy trend which is the e cigarette.

Yes, electronic cigarette! Husband is been using it for 10 months now and i'm so proud for him for not even thinking to smoke the real ones. He has been a chain smoker in 25 years and one day, he happens to read about it online and decided to order. From that day he got his order from the mail, husband automatically switched.

My husband and I had the discussion about getting rid of our in-ground pool in the backyard. There has been too many issues about it and getting rid of it can hopefully solve the problem. In the back of my head, i know i can't stand without it. My friends loved to come over to our house because swimming pool was the main reason. Up to this moment, i still can't make my mind. My weight loss journey

As you all know, i'm working really hard on getting back to my normal weight. I am currently 130 pounds right now with BMI of 23.8. My goal is to get to at least 120 pounds which is my natural weight before i got pregnant.

My weight loss journey has been so amazing. I was close to 140lbs last month and thankfully i was happy to get in to 130. My secret weapon is eating healthy foods, regular exercise accompanied by weight loss pills that i do believe it helped me a lot in curbing my appetite. I still more pounds to lose and hopefully in another month, i can see a huge progress.

Not feeling so good today. I don't like to eat the reason why i did not took the fat burners that i have for few days now. One of the countless character that I always enjoyed the most for being a woman is the love for shopping, shoe to be exact. I have at least 28 pairs and i can honestly say that when i bought them, i wasn't particularly in need but i bought them just to satisfy myself. I may not be understood by many specially the husband but i'm satisfied the fact that i'm happy, and seeing them whenever i open my closet can put a big smile in my face.

Unlike clothes, shoe shopping never dispppoint me because shoes are constant and i can always wear the same shoe size no matter how much weight i gain. I may have find occasions that i can use some of the pieces i haven't wear in a long run but right now i am ready to purchase another type of shoe which is the overshoe. I love the fact that they are waterproof, easy to get on or off and they'r cheap too!. I can wear them anywhere when its raining without ruining my good shoes underneath. My friends and I are frustrated about finding the fat burners that work. As soon as we moved-in to our new house, one thing that i was concern about was how to make it our own home, literally. And to make it as our special home, husband and I done quite a bit of work which me and him never did before. There some of the area of the house had remodeled including the repainting as well as the repairing the few minor stuff. And to top to that, i also add my favorite pieces of art prints in the boring walls and install few window embelishments. Our home isn't expensive btw, but we are happy and proud that at least we managed to make it the way we wanted and comfortable living in it.

New year, so to speak another addition year of my marriage life and so is my presence of being in the state. For the record, i'm going to be 5 years in above mentioned.

Nothing really much going on of being in this strange place, well except the skyrocketed situation and of course, having a fil-am daughter--so proud of it.

Hopefully the new year bring lots of blessings and happiness with not-too much drama. The frustrations are sure got to go.

The kind of being not mindful sometimes, less talk can cause to a less arguments, being lay low and go on with the flow are some qualities that i'm trying to perceive. So we just done our christmas dinner and opening the presents. Everybody seems happy of what they got and of course i am too with my bath robe and pretty sweet shirt from husband. The kids got their favorite games as well as the electronics. Alyssa got too many stuff out of the bunch. She got clothes from everybody, Dora's toys and jewelry which she's been wearing it up until now.

My father came over by the way and he got his favorite hoya de monterrey which makes him a very happy old man on the christmas day. Husband's brother got holiday pajama's and the neck massager that husband gave him.

Husband didn't get to open his present because he doesn't have anything yet. I mean, I ordered something for him monday and thought it gets here before the christmas because that's what the seller told me that he is going to send it out as soon as i pay it. I wasn't very happy at all after learning that my stuff isn't in the post office yet. But oh well, it will be here probably on Monday, better late than never.

We just got back from town trying to load up groceries for a weeks. The snow storm is getting ready to hit tommorow morning so we better be ready. Husband is kind of worried about him going to work and being stuck somewhere. I told him to call-in but that is just not his option, he likes to go work and save his days off.

I've been wanting to remodel our bathroon since the very first day we moved in the house. I don't like the wood floor in it because of its age..The walls are also kind of old to me and i think the only thing that makes it beautiful and modern is to install glass tiles in it.

Had a fun times with friends today. Although, i didn't get to stay all day in bed sleeping but i was happy to see them along with their goodies. We cooked different foods; paksiw na isda, bulad and biko to be exact. I also made another set of puto cheese since they are requested me to make some. Although i didn't get the regular mix i usually making, i'm glad i pull it off with using the rice flour i already have in my pantry.

It was another day of disaster when it comes to my diet. It's different when you have somebody to share food with you in the table, the people who appreciate the food you have no matter how much awful the smell was...lol so yeah it was torture!

One of my friend's husband is so fan of buying new tv's. Believe it or not, they got about 10 tv's in their house which all of them working. Their bedroom alone is got 3 tv, 1 for the bathroom, the kitchen and the rest of the rooms.

Holidays

We don't have any thanksgiving preparation due to the fact that husband is working on the thanksgiving day. I can finally say, i'm so over dealing with the immigration. I finally have my resident card after such a terrible mess we went through. Before we visit the PI, we fought hard to get my documents in order for me to travel overseas, not to mention we submit numerous of proof stating that we did the change of address couple of times. Finding my important files isn't as easy as i thought. I wish we wish we had document imaging to assure those papers are kept well and accessed easily. We shouldn't have to go through the office and travel 4hours many times just to plead our case. But i'm so glad i got over it, now my mind is at peace.

Husband is constantly telling me to do the lowe ab workouts. He is probably feed up when i get upset and frustrated if can't fit in most of my jeans. Sometimes he also teased me for almost being an obese but i know he is just challenge me to lose weight. I'm not close to being obese, in my opinion because stand about 5'4 and weigh 135lbs but being close to overweight is just something i hated about.

I love to dressed up and just few days ago, me and my friend went shopping. I grabbed all kinds of clothes with sizes of 5-7 to the fitting room and was shocked because i can't fit at any of those. I realize i gained a lot and the size 9 is what I'm needing. Its just so frustrating knowing that all the clothes in my closet right now are 5 and 7. My computer is so messed up. Its slow performance is just about driving me crazy. I did everything like cleaning the hard drives, scanning the viruse and uninstall some files i don't need but still the performance is just the same. It might be getting old or perhaps, i needed a new one but God knows i can't afford to have a newer laptop right now. I plan on doing the system recovery but i'm too hesitant because of some pictures i have stored. If it won't get better i don't have a choice. The hospital in our little town is currently in huge trouble. They lay off about 60 workers this month which includes the nurses, housekeeping, etc. Everybody in the town are worried about the outcome because this hospital is only the place where people can get a job that pays high amount of a salary. Our town have only limited place to work and even the jobs retail are difficult to apply because of too many people in the county who are trying to get the job. Unless people like to drive an hour (roundtrip) to go to next towns and city, they probably will survive.

Anyway at the end of the conversation, he was asking if i could buy some authentic John wall jersey here in the US as well as few running shorts for their team. Being able to have this kind of stuff is just like owning a luxuries item because of the fact they are made or come from the US. It's going to be busy weekend ahead of us. On friday, we scheduled to go to the BB madness in Lexington and then that night we will go straight home for another trip to TN with friends in the next morning. My friend's children are supposed to celebrating their birthday together so they decided to have the trip to TN instead of having the birthday party. As for us, we planned to go with them. I can't resist the invitation with friends, who can anyway? We are going to stay overnight somewhere in the area where going. The girls have lots of plans on where to go but lets see where we endeed up going. That is just according to our husbands/drivers. Hopefully we get to go to a lot of places. The carnival and the shopping mall are probably our targets.

Honestly speaking, i don't own any sneakers in my closet. I have probably about 20 brand name shoes namely dereon, bcbg, aldo but all of them are high heels, boots and regular flats. I remember the other day while we went fishing at friend's pond with 59 degree, husband teased me about wearing 3-inch heels while going on fishing. I felt embarrass but i told him that i have no sneakers or tennis shoe to wear. My step-daughter offered me her shoes unfortunately it didn't fit, so i was forced to go out the house with the wedge heels. But since i wanted to have at least one right now, i'm going to make sure to get sneakers instead in my next shoe shopping. This time its going to be a sneakers and not the heels.

Husband is trying to quit smoking. He is on his almost 2weeks of using e-cig and so far he didn't crave any regular cigarettes. I don't know if the e-cig might be a good idea for those who would like to quit smoking but to him he believe that it will help. I really don't like his idea in the first place but thinking the extra money he is going to spend for each pack of cigarette is something that i kind of like.
