34 passengers of sunken ferry rescued

There are at least 34 passengers of the Sulpicio Lines' MV Princess of the Stars were rescued Mulanay, Quezon province on Sunday after the passenger vessel sank off Sibuyan Island in Romblon province caused by a deadly typhoon Frank (international codename Fengshen).

Lamorias told ABS-CBN's morning show, "Umagang Kay Ganda," that the ship sank 15 minutes after ship Capt. Florencio Marimon ordered all passengers to abandon the ferry.

Lamorias said only a number of passengers were able to use life rafts while almost half of the over 700 passengers wore life jackets before jumping off the ship.

The ship sank off Sibuyan Island on Saturday, 16 hours after it left North Harbor in Manila bound for Cebu.

Vice Admiral Wilfredo Tamayo, commandant of the Philippine Coast Guard, said rescuers have recovered five bodies after the sinking of the ferry.

Journey Album I bought!

It's been quite a while now we heard about the new vocalist of the Journey Band. To give you little insight, Arnel Pineda was plucked from a YouTube video where Neal Schon caught him fronting a Filipino cover band and since then, Journey's new life is the biggest story of year.

While doing our regular shopping today something that came up in my mind to check the cd's and dvd section and from there i saw "Journey Revelation" album. Yep! i didn't waste my time to think about it, instead i grab the copy and went check out. Upon headed back home, i played the music in the vehicle. I can't believe of what i am hearing as well as hubby. He actually think it was Steve Perry, the vocalist of the Journey Band before. I like the songs "DOn't Stop Believing", Faithfully" and "Open Arms". I am so proud of what my co-filipino achieved. He has awesome voice and he deserve to be in the place where he is right now. More power for him and for his success!

Disadvatages of Computer

A brother of mine came online last night and ask me for a paragraph for their school project. Imagine he is asking me 450words and i was like whaaatt? I was shocked where should i get 450 words? He also told me i only had 1hour to do it since the project is going to expired next few hours. So, i hurriedly went browsing and looking for topic that i could write about which is also suited best for the students. My cousin had this little blog and decided to picked out the topic since his blog is related to students. So, below are some of his idea. I construct couple of words and paragraph too to make it little different but idea is from him. Thanks to Dun2x anyway so much. I am waiting my brother to get back online and ask him how was his presentation going.

Thanks to the internet, people nowadays find their life more comfortable. As long as there's internet cafe and internet connection, people mostly students are thankful when it comes to their school research. And yet, big companies are depending computers too to make their businesses going well. Basically, the the importance of computers brought us life convenient. However, as a human being, we just can't deny that using computers have disadvantages too. So today, i'm going to share some of my ideas about the effect of computer in the community and in our life as an individual.

Firstly, we all do know that computer makes our work faster but is there any effect to us? I would say Yes! Is it possible if we shoulder all the importance of these devices? The answer is only in our every mind. Being so dependent in these has also effect as I said. I say, it affects many. I get some views of people and other said it can spoil eye sight if look in the monitor too much. Aside from the reason that computers is too way expensive, i think its better to save our money for our future needs because not to mention the prices today especially foods are costs too much. I have also heared from the news that there are some people are using computers for senseless pornography. There is no wonder where crimes is rampant such as rape in some other areas. In most cases, people who are addicted to computer are spending all their time secluded in their rooms while surfing the net, roaming in the chat rooms or downloading illegal documents. The worst thing is, there are so many scheming people around the internet capturing others identity for living. Yes, these are all possible! There are some people dedicate their life to make those crimes. Again, no wonder where identity theft is a major crime to big country like America. Some internet professionals are using their internet skills and knowledge to access other peoples bank account and other personal information. So, there is no longer as safe as it used to be. Internet accessibility put knowledge at the finger tips of a user. But i say, it should be great if we allowed the old way of learning (ex: handwriting) and not to be forgotten. Yes, its been such a pleasant feeling to know that internet provides easy access to certain things that we didn't found but i think its great when computers is not a reason of students distractions in school because of computer games.

Generally, above views for me is just one of the major effect but mind you the safety. No matter how computer made us, i think the above problem i stated has its solution and that only depends on how we used and manage them. Why not use computers only if we needed, limit unofficial business and simplify only our needs?

Here is another upcoming teleserye that i think i'm going to watch. I'm not an avid fan of Anne Curtis but i think these Dyosa teleserye is fantastic. Looking forward to watch it and i am so excited!

Belated Happy B-day MOm

Time has passed and now its my 3rd year of not witnessing my mom's birthday. It's not only my mom though but also my dad which his bday is next month and so all my siblings. Since i was too busy the last few days with my schedule and duties, i was about to forgot my mom's bday which is happen on the 13th last Friday. Now, i'm going to take this opportunity to greet my mom a belated 43th birthday. Wishing her to have more birtday's to come with good health..

Our trip in Louisville

Alright! we are officially back and of course i am officially back on blogging..lol After such a long and tiring trip we finally arrived. Well, actually we arrived last night but we opted to get rest before doing our usual errands. I'm glad that my biometric is done well. We just stayed at the federal building for 10 minutes then go out, that was fast! We went there early than my actual bio schedule, gladly there is no other applicants there so we were entertained very well and get done very early. We had so much time on our trip. Everything was great even we lost so many times. We don't have GPS so its hard for us to go places. Hubby is always pulling off to the gas station to ask somebody where is such and such. Yeah, kinda hassle but it was part of the trip.

We stayed at the Galt House, which is very excellent hotel i ever had in my life. It was huge and its got so many beautiful scenery's. Below are some of our pictures on our trip.

I noticed i got couple of emails from paypal that says my Paypal account has been limited. I was so confused and was about to follow the instruction how to straight it up but my cousin babe told me about Paypal phishing scams which circulating in the world wide web lately. Then i googled it and it was confirmed absolutely a fraud! Anyone who has experienced with this be aware..Don't click anything or the link. Best thing to do is to go to your address bar and type paypal.com then log in. Paypal will let you know if there is anything you done in their system.

Note, the email is almost as the same as the original paypal emails, the logos and text. Just be careful! Here is the example of the email i received few days ago.
